About Gotow
Guardians of the old world is a club located in the southern part of the netherlands, more precisely in Berg aan de Maas, near Sittard.
Our club currently has about 15 active members, and the games we play the most are: Warhammer fantasy, Warhammer 40.000, and flames of war. if any of these games sound unfamilair to you, feel free to check out the games option in the menu to find out more about them.
As a club we have regular wargame-afternoons, usually hosted on a saturday, yet on seperate occasions we also have something wargame-related going on on a sunday, for example apocalypse battles that last more than one day, or the the date simply might be changed because of personal reasons.
Our gaming space is fairly large, and we normally have 4 tables on which can be played, and 3 tables that are used for scenerybuilding/storage. drinks and snacks are also taken care of by the club, so the only thing you need to worry about is with what tactic you’re going to beat your opponent this time!
as well as playing the 3 main games, we’ve also on occasion played Magic: the gathering, Space hulk, and other tabletop-related games.
